TIRE DESCRIPTION: NHTSA ISSUED A CONSUMER ADVISORY TO MAKE THE PUBLIC AWARE THAT THERE ARE STILL SOME FIRESTONE TIRES OUT IN THE MARKET WHICH COULD POSSIBLY SUFFER A TREAD SEPARATION. MODELS INCLUDE ATX, FIREHAWK ATX, ATX 23 DEGREE, WIDETRACK RADIAL BAJA, WIDETRACK RADIAL BAJA A/S, WILDERNESS AT, AND WILDERNESS HT. HOWEVER, SINCE MANY OF THEM WERE MANUFACTURED SEVERAL YEARS AGO, IT IS LIKELY THAT FAR FEWER ARE CURRENTLY ON THE ROAD. THIS IS NOT BEING CONDUCTED AS A SAFETY CAMPAIGN.
